Roy Raymond worked for Beringer’s winemaking team before founding in 1970 Raymond Vineyards with his two sons, Today, Raymond has grown to include 380 acres of estate vineyards in the Napa Valley in Rutherford, St. Helena and Jameson Canyon. Raymond produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from its certified organic and Biodynamic® by Demeter USA estate vineyards, and a network of local growers. In August 2009, the Boisset Collection purchased the winery.
